e-shot feature update – June 2025

The latest e-shot release is here! On Thursday 12th June, we released a product update. This release saw the introduction of two bigger enhancement pieces in the form of the e-shot dashboard and a brand-new user type. 

Dashboard enhancements 

The e-shot dashboard has seen a complete UI overhaul 

• Page UI overhaul  

• Modernised ‘Contacts’ and ‘Activity’ widgets 

• Reordering of widgets

New restricted user enhancement 

We have introduced a brand-new user type called a ‘Restricted user’. These users can be locked down much more than a user can currently. Changes include: 

• Following on from the dashboard above, the user will see less widgets that relate only to their activity. These widgets being ‘My activity’ and ‘My engagement’.

• A restricted user can be created the same way users are currently, with a simple tick box being added. 

•  Restricted users can be tied down to only have access to the groups or preferences selected by you. The user will only have access to these audiences and no others in your CRM. 

 

• The restricted user can only send to the audiences selected.

Other updates 

 

• UI change: Changed text displayed when a tag is assigned for benchmarking to make it clearer how many campaigns are being benchmarked against.  

 

• Renaming of headings on the Settings > Users & permissions page. Making them in line with the product area names e.g. Reports to Analytics and Messages to Designs. These changes have also been applied when adding/editing users permissions. 

• Adjusted wording in ‘Send limit exceeded’ and ‘insufficient credits’ notification emails. These emails were referencing the ‘Outbox’ which is a part of legacy analytics and not new. 

 

• Login security enhancement: After 5 failed login attempts, the system locks the account for 1 hour. If the user fails to log in again, the account is locked for another hour, and so on. 

 

• Subaccount selection dropdown list is now sorted in alphabetical order. 

What's cooking?  

We are still yet to promote our new feature to the wider audience. We can now announce this feature is ‘Website popups’ 🤩 The website popups feature makes it easy to deliver timely messages to your site visitors or prompt them to subscribe to your newsletters. Ideal for driving engagement and growing your list, this feature ensures visitors see important calls-to-action right as they browse. You can choose to share key notifications about events, or present targeted sign-up forms to capture new email subscribers effectively.
