How do I reset my password?
From time to time, you may wish to update your e-shot password, or you may have forgotten what it is.
To update or reset your password there are a couple of options. Either yourself can request a password reset email or an account admin can send you one from within e-shot.
Requesting a password reset
To request a password reset email, head to the usual e-shot login page.
All passwords need to be between at least 12 characters and no more than 128. They also need to include at least one uppercase, one lowercase, one symbol and one number.
Alternatively, you account administrator can trigger a "change password" email to be sent to you from the settings area within the e-shot console.
The reset password link within the reset email is only active for one hour and cannot be used more than once for security reasons.
Admins sending a password reset email
Alternatively, your account admins can trigger a change password email. To do this. They will need to head to Settings > Account settings > Users and permissions. On this page, click the ‘Edit’ button next to the user who needs to reset their password.
They can then click the ‘Send email to set password’ button to send an email to the user, where the same as above, they can set a new password.
*Please note, all password's reset emails are only active for one hour and the same reset password link cannot be used more than once for security reasons.
