e-shot feature update – July 2024

On Thursday 18th July, e-shot saw its latest feature update. A release that sees changes to some of e-shot's most used areas, the templates section and the analytics page. 

Within this release we have completely overhauled the UI of the analytics page, bringing it a new up to date style that follows other areas of the platform such as the designs and campaigns pages. 

The templates area of the platform has also had some slight changes, which we will cover in this article. 

New additions: 

Analytics UI overhaul: 

The analytics page is one of the final major pages in e-shot that was set to be brought in line with the rest of the product. As part of this release, we have made a start on bringing the entire analytics suite in line with the rest of platform, beginning with the main analytics list page.  

This is a piece of development that will first be given to Dev Club members and then slowly introduced to the remainder of our customers. 

Templates:  

The template section already exists within e-shot as I’m sure you’re aware of. However, as part of this release, we have introduced several enhancements as listed below: 

• A tagging system, much like the designs and new campaigns page 

• Thumbnail view improvements 

• A list display view again like the designs and new campaigns page 

Other changes: 

• MFA 

  1. Several wording changes to the settings and user's page 

  2. Added the ability to restrict all users in a subaccount to login using SSO 

  3. Added the ability for a user to be able to simply reset their MFA 

 

• Recurrent campaigns now provides the user with the ability to change a design that is being used 

 

• A contact import error file in some instances was not providing useful error information, this is no longer the case 

 

• HTML Upload designs with a subject line longer than 90 characters previously gave an error, this is no longer the case 

 

• Corrections made to the permissions need for cloning and deleting of templates
