e-shot feature update – April 2024
On Thursday 18th April, e-shot saw its second release of 2024. A small release which focused predominantly on minor fixes and enhancements to the platform.
This article will cover some of the key changes and updates but as always, the full details for the release will be available in our release notes when logged into e-shot.
The new campaigns flow
Following on from the several enhancements made to the new campaigns experience in last month's release, the April release also saw various changes to the new campaigns flow.
Designs that contain no design content can now be attached to a campaign.
Several changes have been made to the messages displayed to the user when making changes to a sender identity.
A visual representation of when a campaign is scheduled for can now be seen on the campaigns list view.
Previously after importing contacts into a new group, that group would show 0 contacts when attaching it at the campaign stage. This will no longer be the case.
The audit log was showing an incorrect date/time after a campaign was scheduled. This will no longer be the case.
Other changes
Relating to all other areas of the e-shot platform.
Saving of a template will now correctly update the last modified by name.
Particularly long designs will no longer distort the thumbnail preview on the existing designs page.
Certain reports pages were not opening the UW accessibility widget. This is no longer the case.
The saved filter date selector tool will now save the user's input.
Improvements made to various messages displayed to the user when deleting contacts.
Ordinary users (non-subaccount/global admin) can no longer edit shared templates.
On the imports page, the email confirmation (additional recipients) field has been limited to one email address to avoid misuse.
Subaccount admins were previously given a black screen after attempting to add a new preference. This is no longer the case.
That's a brief overview of what to expect in this month's release, for the full release notes, please refer to the release notes section here or when you are logged into e-shot.
