e-shot feature update – December 2023

The final e-shot update for 2023 is here. The full details for this release will be available in the release notes but in this article, we will provide the brief details for this update. 

Enhancements

Recurrent campaigns

When choosing the recurring timeframe for your campaign, users now have the option to specify a list of dates and times for the campaign send schedule. Enabling users to set up recurrent campaigns with specific dates, which is useful for many campaigns, for example bin reminders.

On the new campaigns list view, the next 3 scheduled sends for the campaign will be shown.

Split tests 

The new campaigns flow now caters for the ability to do multiple split sends in one campaign. 

Bug fixes, minor tweaks and hot fixes 

 

New campaigns experience  

• Performance improvements to the campaigns list page and campaign page. 

• Saved filters are now honoured.  

• Several UX behaviour fixes.

Preference forms 

• Users can now specify a stylesheet to style their own preference forms. 

• Desensitised link triggers email using incorrect reply email.​ 

 

Sign-up forms 

• Users can now specify a stylesheet to style their own sign-up forms. 

 

API 

• URL documentation updated within the Settings/Integrations area in the e-shot platform. 

• Custom field handling updated to fix issue with Zapier integration.  

 

Contacts 

• Editing a contact showing group id instead of group name.  

 

AMP 

• Several functionality fixes. 

 

Accessibility preview  

• Accessibility preview highlight button now highlights the corresponding issues to the user. 

 

Preference forms 

• Users can now specify a stylesheet to style their own preference forms 

• Desensitised link triggers email using incorrect reply email​ 

 

Click overlay  

• Links now correctly ranked (Hidden VML link)
