Announcing partnership with LocalGov Drupal
LocalGov Drupal is the publishing platform created by councils, for councils, which is actively working with 46+ councils throughout the UK. LocalGov Drupal products are built and maintained by a community of digital experts from local councils, and their suppliers, collaborating to develop a best practice, open source website publishing platform that is freely available to all UK councils.
“We work together to improve our own websites, and to create public digital assets for the benefit of all. Together, we aim to create sector-wide digital transformation by developing a shared pool of code, resources, research, and expertise.”
Both LocalGov Drupal and e-shot are motivated by a desire to help councils deliver the best possible digital experience for citizens and reduce the risks and costs associated with providing their multitude of services.
Email and web are inseparable for many communication journeys; with the web bolstering data collection and building an engaged audience and email principally directing recipients to the information they want/need available within the website. It is crucial for excellent customer experience for this journey to be seamless, accessible and inclusive and it is our hope and expectation that this partnership will create a step-change in this coalition.
