We are delighted to be headline sponsor of LGComms Academy 2023, which is taking place on 9th-10th November in Cutler's Hall, Sheffield.

LGcomms Academy is a well-established annual event providing a unique opportunity for communicators from across the country to come together, develop key skills and share ideas. Organised by LGcomms, the event offers a mix of learning, expert speakers, networking, practical training and interactive sessions for communications professionals at all career levels. 

This year the focus of the event is “communicating in an era of constant change”.

Beginning with the pandemic, and continuing through political and economic upheaval, continued challenges around funding, the cost-of-living crisis, along with structural changes creating new organisations with new missions…has there ever been a time of greater upheaval for public services?

This year’s academy will provide insight, experience, and a host of learning to help communications professionals across councils, combined authorities, the NHS and emergency services deal with the demands of constant change and upheaval.

Come and say hi to the team who will be located in Hadfield Hall, and make sure you get your space in our Thursday afternoon session where Dan, our COO, will be running an interactive workshop on automating digital outcomes: it will be using case-study examples including Foster Carer recruitment with Essex, Adult education with Surrey and Waste Management with Gedling to illustrate journey methodology.
