G-Cloud 12 awards for Forfront for both e-shot & Trustbox

e-shot and Trustbox now available via leading public sector framework

Forfront, a UK-based software development house, is very pleased to announce that three of their software solutions have been awarded with places on the latest G-Cloud 12 framework.

Local and Central Government departments can use the G-Cloud 12 framework to procure a range of software services with confidence. G-Cloud is run by the Crown Commercial Service, which supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2019/20, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits worth over £1bn - supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.

e-shot on G-Cloud 12

e-shot™ is a secure digital communication platform trusted by government organisations to deliver email and SMS at scale. It has been extensively updated to improve accessibility and data security and has been used extensively by a number of public sector clients to communicate with stakeholders quickly and at scale during the pandemic.

“The e-shot system is an excellent communication tool. It has enabled me to keep in contact and update local residents regularly, particularly during the recent pandemic. It is easy to use and customise whilst providing a host of information surrounding engagement levels.”

Chris Grayling, MP

Despite having to adapt to the challenges of lockdown, e-shot was able to maintain its exceptional service and support. Indeed the average response time of the e-shot Customer Success team was just 2m 33s and the average time to close was 1h 45m during the lockdown period 16th March – 14th September. The consultative and proactive service offered alongside the software solution has helped their public sector clients ensure their signup forms and preference centres were accessible by the 23 September 2020 deadline as set by the Accessibility Standards, as well as ensuring that all emails meet accessibility requirements

“e-shot has a pivotal role within both our communications but also our data management practices.”

George Haffenden, Education & Skills Funding Agency.

Proud to be secure and UK-centric

The Forfront operation is entirely UK based and the e-shot Customer Success team are particularly well versed in understanding the demands of public sector customers from a security perspective.

Forfront remain committed to never outsource and everyone dealing with data and e-shot accounts has the relevant security clearance for Government work (BPSS). With systems housed exclusively in certified, Tier 3 data centres in the UK.

Ron Kellermann, Managing Director commented “We are proud of our 20 years of history providing services to the most demanding industries including major financial institutions, NHS and government departments, including The Ministry of Defence.”

Trustbox on G-Cloud 12

New to G-Cloud this year, Forfront have also added Trustbox.

Trustbox has been designed to specifically address the issue of official organisations being impersonated by fraudsters. Since the start of the pandemic, there has been a huge rise in phishing attempts using emails that look like they providing official information on COVID-19.

Trustbox identifies the organisation behind each genuine email that you receive. It also verifies whether that organisation has permission to communicate with you – combining data protection and cybersecurity to protect the organisations sending and the contacts receiving emails.

As Ron continued “Criminals have been using the pandemic to scam innocent people and their businesses. Recognising genuine, official emails from fraudulent ones is unnecessarily difficult at present and we’re confident that Trustbox will address this problem.”
