Build an NHS fit for the future
On 10th September the team will be at the Royal Society of Medicine in London for an event that will combine both the NHS Long Term Plan (LTP) and Integrated Care Boards Conference (ICS). The conference will focus on the pivotal issues concerning the future strategies of both LTP & ICS and incorporate key elements of the “Major Conditions Strategy” currently being developed.
There will be keynotes from Sarah Price, Director of Public Health, NHS England, Dr Hatim Abdulhussein : Former National Clinical Lead for AI and Digital Workforce and Frances Tippett – Head of Integrated Personalised Care, NHS England amongst others, along with a number of sessions on health inequalities, designing future fit services and ICS collaboration. You can see the full agenda here: https://govconnectevents.co.uk/nhs-ltp-ics-2024/agenda/
NHS and Social Care providers from across primary, secondary, specialist and tertiary settings including all newly formed ICS/ICB board members, clinical and non-clinical directors and senior management teams are eligible to access funded continuous learning bursaries. And as a sponsor we can also make recommendations of those that we would wish to invite and receive a fully funded ticket – so please get in touch if you would like to join us at the event.
The Venue
Steeped in history, 1 Wimpole Street was built in 1909 as larger premises for the Royal Society of Medicine and was officially opened by King George V and Queen Mary in the same year.
Today, the building plays host to a whole range of events, from meetings and product launches to conferences. Preserving the grandeur of old whilst embracing modern technology, 1 Wimpole Street has established itself as one of the leading meeting, conference and event venues in central London.
Holding an event at 1 Wimpole Street is an investment in the future of UK healthcare. With all profits reinvested into the Royal Society of Medicine, the largest provider of post graduate medical education in the UK, stakeholders are directly contributing to the development of medical professionals.
